An Invitation

Who doesn't love to get an invitation? It could be to a birthday party or wedding shower or a fall bonfire or campfire. It's fun to join with others and have a good time.

Sometimes, though, it tires us to be around a lot of people. We need time alone to relax, read a book, take a warm bath or just plain rest. So we invite ourselves to our own private party.

Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened and He will give us rest.
