Daybreak.

Up at the light of dawn

Praying that God will come

In Him all things are overcome

Stress, sickness and delirium.

Wide awake at the strike of dawn

Hoping that a prayer will come

I know words will never arrive

To explain the pain around my bones.

Walking around at the dawn of day

I have no words to say

Except "Jesus come!"

So, I am not alone.

Lying down with waves of frowns

Upon my brow; noise inside my head

It is better that nothing is said

Let the silence calm me down.

In this early part of the day

I meet God; He meets me

That is where my troubles end

Daybreak, I am on the mend.
