HE KNOWS ME BY NAME

I opened my eyes this morning, it was the start of my day

I thanked God for waking me, then I began to pray

One thing led to another, and I found myself in His presence

In awe of His glory, I embraced His essence

God, You still light the fire in me

You set my heart ablaze, internally

You know just what I'm needing, to fan the flame

You fill my heart's desire, You know me by name

As I continue in Your presence, I stand amazed

All glory and honor, for Your amazing grace

I am the righteousness of God, through the finished work at the cross

When Jesus Christ said it is finished, He paid the cost
