I STAND AT MOUNT ZION

Writer's picture: Mrs. Marie HarkerMrs. Marie Harker

I used to like religion, with all of its rules

I serve a God, who lets me choose

Jesus as my personal Savior

Or separation from God, to be His hater

I was once like the Israelites standing at Mount Sinai

God has shown me His grace, and opened mine eye

I stand at Mount Zion, I stand tall

For here at this mountain, grace is in abundance for all

Now I go boldly to the throne of God, and receive His power

For I live in His righteousness, hour after hour

I'm dead to sin, I can reign in this life

All because of Jesus's atoning sacrifice
