Hello Christian poets and writers
My name is Robert and I have been writing poetry since High School. My publications have been mostly online and unfortunately, most of the websites no longer exist. My successes have included have the most read poem for over six years on a site. Having poems published internationally and in secular arenas. Even a claim that Former President Obama read one of them and printed it however, I could never confirm this for myself.
Between 2001-2003, I was a top contributor to my local Newspaper. Other arenas my poetry have ended up included a liberal Women Lawyer activist group, weight loss support groups, and poetry contests.
Enough bragging! Personally I have faced many trials in my life including being in the mental hospital. I have a few poems about my stays in the mental hospital. I haven't seriously written in over ten years.
Some of my more recent accomplishments include achieving my Doctorate in Divinity and becoming an ordained minister. Additionally becoming a certified specialist in managing Diabetes, specialist in weight loss and specialist in managing stress. Last Summer being accepted as an expert in religion on a self help site.
So, here I am hoping to reengage with my writing skills.
