Leaning on my Beloved

You invite me to lean on Your strong arm,

As You protect me from all harm

And You are most beloved to me, Lord.

And You clothe me in Your righteousness,

Assuring me that to You I am most precious,

And I just want to be well-pleasing to You, Lord!

And You adorn me with bridal garments,

And You pour on me the oil of Your fragrance,

And I just want my face to shine for You, Lord.

And You lift the veil most tenderly,

And You kiss me with affection and mercy,

And I just want to be intimate with You, Lord.

You lift me up into our secret place,

As You encompass me with Your secure embrace,

And I just want to gaze upon You forever.

You rejoice over me with spontaneous songs,

Assuring me that to You I belong,

And I long to know You more and more, Lord!

I gladly accept Your invitation

To drink of Your sanctification

And You fully satisfy me with all You are, Lord!

My Beloved

My Beloved

My Beloved

My Beloved.
