MERCY

Writer's picture: Mrs. Marie HarkerMrs. Marie Harker

I was walking with You Lord, I was in Your will

I got sidetracked, but You love me still

I went to places I should never have went

I said things to others that I never meant

Mercy You've given to me so freely

You could have judged me so harshly

Instead You've shown patience as I grew up

Back into Your loving arms, refilling my cup

I don't deserve Your mercy and grace

I've been so selfish, running my own race

I deserved Your distance, I deserved so much more

But You knew I would come back, You opened the door
