Science Is Not Enough

Vastness, a trillion blinking stars millions of miles away

In awe and wonder, we long to fully understand the heavens someday

Unbelievably a universe forty-six billion light-years across, an eternal view

Who or what is responsible, as we wonder what we should believe to be true

Enlightened by so many facts and figures, and can’t argue with most

Yet there are so many who personally testify they’ve been guided by the Holy Ghost

We know cosmos theories don’t explain its specific design and implied creator

In all its splendor and glory so incomprehensible, an infinite theater

Certainly countless human benefits from an academia discipline-based in fact

But countless blessings also seen in the liturgy of those on a soteriological tract

Important yes but does everything have to be factual and verifiable in the stars above

What about documented miracles and the existence and unexplained gift of love

Have our minds not progressed enough to syncretize evolution and creation together

To be afraid to have faith, so our faith is only in what is seen, and factual endeavors

Science is not enough without a spiritual architect from which all life came to be

A fact ignored, though witnessed by 500 souls who saw Jesus rise again for eternity

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

· Earth to the observable universe edge is approximately 46 billion light years

· One light year equals 6 trillion miles or 46 billion times 6 trillion miles

· There are 100 billion galaxies with 10 million to 1 trillion stars in each galaxy

But for God, can anyone explain or fathom the resources, components, energy, power, and reaction, needed to ignite a “Big Bang” that would produce a universe this incomprehensible and infinite?
